Shockingly, shockingly late
Okay, so this entry is only about 4 days late. But a very happy, belated birthday to my inordinately loving, beautiful, and incredibly wonderful wife. Who is a year older than she thought she was. ;) I love you dearest.

Wait...she doesn't know how old she is? Is Texas having that negative an effect on y'all?
Somehow -- and don't ask me how -- but Jenny's mom actually convinced Jen that she was a year younger than her actual age for about a month or two. It's not Texas, it's Louisville. ;)
More confusingly, we were in Boston at the time she briefly confused me on my age (after all, she did give BIRTH to me, I thought she'd be accurate)- so I don't think it's about geography. :)
Glad to hear it was all just a simple misunderstanding then ;)
Seriously, I never trust my mom on my age. She once tried to convince me I was born in 1976 (as opposed to 77, the year in which I was *actually* born) until I made her stop and do the math on what that would have implied for my sister's age (which she seemed to have no trouble remembering. You'd think mothers would remember little things like giving birth to their first-born children! Details-- pish posh, I say.
So....how old are you Jenny? And, I hope you know that this discovery has thrown my universe completely out of order. I thought we were the same age?!!!
:-)
